Jeff Coley

I have lived and worked in Carolina Beach and the Wilmington area since 1983. While stationed at Fort Fisher Air Force Base I fell in love with the Cape Fear region and started calling it home. Already an avid fisherman, the opportunities afforded me from the river, waterways, and ocean soon lead to a career and lifestyle change. Upon discharge from the Air Force I became a commercial fisherman. I have been a clammer, crabber, oyster-man, and first mate on a charter boat. Over the last 27 years I have missed few days on the local waters. Each and every day I have seen or experienced something or met someone that made me enjoy the area even more. My wife and I enjoy camping out at the area beaches, cooking out with friends and neighbors, and spending time with our chocolate lab Chowder. I also enjoy fishing with friends or any of our three daughters. I am now retired from commercial fishing and am enjoying shareing my experience and knowledge of the Cape Fear area with other people that may want to call this home.
