I first visited Wilmington in 2003 and fell in love with the beaches, restaurants, shopping and the way of life! I moved here permanently in 2005 and started selling Real Estate in 2006. Originally from England where I trained as a textile designer, I moved to New York City in the 70’s and worked for several Textile companies often travelling to North Carolina to work at the company mills. I always loved the way of life in the Carolinas and the southern hospitality! Before moving here I was a destination consultant helping people from overseas settle into the USA. I love helping people and decided that selling real estate would be my next career choice. I have 2 children who sadly do not live in North Carolina, and who I miss dearly. I like to cook, garden, paint, and take walks on the beautiful beach at Wrightsville. I also enjoy the cultural side of Wilmington, often going to NC Symphony concerts and other plays, movies, art shows and events at Thalian Hall, Kenan Auditorium and UNCW venues. One of the best things I did when I first moved here was to join the Wilmington Newcomers Club where I made many, many, good friends. I also love to take care of my two very spoiled cats, both rescued in the last 2 years.
