Glenda Eason

I am a life long resident of New Hanover County with the exception of two years spent in Panama City Florida. I have two degrees and I was a former Wilmington Police officer and an elementary school teacher. My faith, family and friends are all a very important part of my life. I have been a real estate broker for 15 years. I find it so rewarding to find that perfect home for a buyer to start their new chapter, or selling a home so that the homeowner can move forward with their new destination in life. I have met so many great people over the years and that is why I love doing what I do.

I live on a small horse farm in northern New Hanover County with my husband, two horses (Sonny and Traveler), two dogs (Holly and KC) and three elderly gentlemen cats. Horses, dogs and cats as well as many other various animals have always been a big part of my life. I thought about how I could give back and so a few years ago I started giving 10 % of my commission to animal rescues. Every time I sell a property I am able to help a rescue with vet bills, food, medicine or what ever the need may be for that rescue. My long term dream is to start a rescue for senior dogs as they are the ones passed over at the shelters. Wouldn’t it be nice if every dog and cat had a home? I am known to some as the rescue realtor and I can not think of a better name.
