John D Riggs

John D is a native of coastal North Carolina, growing up in a commercial fishing family. He became a yacht broker in 1997 when he helped start a successful brokerage at Wrightsville Beach. Wanting the ability to help his boat clients with residential property as well, he joined the BlueCoast Realty team in 2008.

John D now specializes in fine home & land sales (specifically waterfront, of course) and boat slips in addition to yacht sales, assisting clients on both land and sea.

A friend’s father once gave him the advice “Find the one thing you love to do in life and figure out a way to make a living doing it, and you’ll be successful.”
