Surfing is a very popular sport in coastal communities. In fact, if you take a trip to Wrightsville Beach’s South End, it’s always a lot of fun to watch the kite surfers catch a thermal through the sky over the waves! With the water temperatures staying mild this past winter, surfers are keeping their fingers crossed to have some big waves to ride this summer and fall! Fishing is another fun way to spend the day in coastal NC.
